You must first sign in to the web-based setup wizard to set up your D-Link router as a repeater. After logging in, you can search the options and turn on the repeater mode. You can follow the instructions listed below:

Check if your D-Link router is operating properly by turning it on.
Use a wired or wireless connection to join your computer or wireless device to the local network of the D-Link router. You'll get a notification once the two are connected.
Now open a web browser, enter the default web address http://dlinkrouter.local in the address field, and click Enter.
The screen will now show the D-Link router login page. You'll see where you can type in your login and password.
Click the Login button after entering the default information in the appropriate fields.

Tap the Wireless tab at the top of the main setup wizard.

Additionally, select the Repeater Enabled radio button on the screen that opens. Enter the SSID that you want to use for your repeater right now.
To get a list of the accessible access point networks instead, click the Site Survey button.
Click the Next button after choosing the person you want to connect with. In the section marked "available" enter the Pre-shared key, then click Next again.
Type your preferred IP address in the appropriate field on the following screen, ensuring it is in the same IP range as the main router.
To proceed, press the OK button now.
Once more, click the Finish button to finish configuring the device. Remember to restart your computer or wireless device after that.
You can connect your computer or smartphone to your D-Link router to access the internet after setting it up as a repeater. Now that this gadget has been moved, you can enjoy smooth network coverage anywhere.
