Step:1 Firstly, open your Internet browser and type http://dlinkrouter, http://dlinkrouter.local, or http://192.168.1.1 into the address bar and hit enter.

Step:2 As you hit on the enter button, you will be reached on login dashboard. Here you have to enter your login credentials. If you have not changed the default settings before, the

• Username is by default Admin and
• Password is by default Admin. Click Login.

Step:3 Now, you will reach on another page the router setting. Here you need to click on the Setup tab on the top of the page and then click on Wireless Setup from the menu on the left-hand side.

Note: That there are two ways of setup but now need to only click on Wireless Connection Setup Wizard.

Step:4 Upon launching the Wizard, give your network name, using up to 32 characters

Step:5 If you want to change the default SSID to a desired SSID in the 2.4GHz Band field.

Step:6 If you want to change the default SSID to a desired SSID in the 5GHz Band field.

Note: It is prescribed to use WPA Encryption as shown.

Step:7 Hit on Next to continue.

Now you Will Enter in the DSL Wireless Security Setup Wizard.

Step:1 Please enter 8-Digit characters unique and secure password in the 2.4G Band Wireless Security Password field.

Step:2 Please enter 8-Digit characters unique and secure password in the 5G Band Wireless Security Password field.

Step:3 Click Next to continue.

Step:4 Next, enter the 2.4/5GHz SSIDs and must ensure that the 2.4/5GHz SSIDs, Wireless Security Mode and Network Keys have been correctly entered. Later, Click Save to continue.

Step:5 Please note down the 2.4/5GHz SSIDs, Wireless Security Mode and Network Keys to connect other Wireless Client Devices.

Step:6 Now, click OK to complete the Wizard Setup.
