How to Setup the VPN Settings for D-Link Router?

When you open the VPN settings from the web interface of the router, you will see the following options on your screen:

Enable: Check this option and enable the IPSec setting.

Name: Provide a name for your VPN network.

Local Net/ Mask: Set the local (LAN) subnet and mask (ex. 192.168.0.0/24)

Remote IP: Choose a Site to Site or Remote User  required for VPN configuration.

• Site to Site- Network-to-network VPN is one in which two entire LAN networks are virtually connected across the Internet. If this option is selected, you have to set the destination gateway IP address in the box. This is the public WAN IP or host address of the remote VPN server endpoint.
